How Crownmark handles information, what drop release windows mean for your order, and the rules that govern this site. Effective as of [PLACEHOLDER effective date].
Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we keep.
Crownmark collects only the information needed to run the waitlist, place orders, and ship them. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. This page spells out what we hold, who else sees it, and how to ask for it back.
Information collected.
Crownmark collects four kinds of information:
- Email. Captured by the waitlist on the home page, and used by every other surface that reaches you — order confirmations, drop announcements, delete-on-request.
- Order information. Name, shipping address, the items in each order, and the destination they ship to. Held so we can reprint, replace, or reroute if a parcel fails.
- Payment data. Processed by Stripe through the Polsia payment proxy. Crownmark does not see, store, or transmit card numbers — only an order identifier and a confirmation event.
- Cookies and session. Strictly necessary cookies keep your session valid across pages; any optional preference cookie (locale, theme) is set only if you choose.
Who else sees it.
Crownmark shares information with three external processors — and only with them:
- Print-on-demand partner. Receives the order contents (item, size, destination) so the print shop can produce and ship. The print partner holds the fulfilment window — they keep production records for warranty purposes.
- Payment processor. Stripe processes every transaction through the Polsia payment proxy. Stripe sees the money; Crownmark sees the confirmation, the order identifier, and the amount in cents.
- Email proxy. Transactional mail (order confirmations, drop announcements, replies to your messages) is delivered through the Polsia email proxy from crownmark-2@polsia.app.
We retain waitlist and order data for as long as your relationship with the brand is active. You can ask for deletion at any time — see Privacy contact below.
Privacy contact.
To access, correct, or delete the information Crownmark holds on you, email [PLACEHOLDER contact email: ____@crownmark.com] (or, in the meantime, crownmark-2@polsia.app). We respond within [PLACEHOLDER response window: e.g. 14 days].
Terms of Service
The rules that govern this site.
By using crownmark.com you agree to these terms. They cover browsing, drop release mechanics, and the prints themselves. Plain language wherever possible; the legal arithmetic only where it has to be.
Orders.
Orders are placed through the Stripe payment proxy. Payment is captured at order time. Prices are listed in cents to avoid rounding drift between currencies; the displayed total is the total charged.
An order is final once Stripe confirms the payment. You will receive an order confirmation email from crownmark-2@polsia.app with your order identifier — keep it for any future correspondence.
Drops & release.
Each capsule runs on its own release window. Orders close when the window closes, regardless of clock time on your device — the canonical clock is the servers' drop close time. Production begins after the window closes.
Stock is allocated by production, not first-click. The order in which requests arrive within the window does not influence whether you receive an item — only that the item was requested before the window closed.
Returns.
Unworn, unwashed items in original packaging can be returned within [PLACEHOLDER return window: e.g. 14 days from delivery]. Custom or POD-printed items are non-returnable except for dead-on-arrival defects.
Damaged-in-transit: report within [PLACEHOLDER damage-report window: e.g. 48 hours of receipt]. We replace defective units rather than refund where possible, since POD production makes reruns faster than voids.
POD fulfillment.
Crownmark is printed on demand — every piece is produced for the specific order that requested it. Print-on-demand means print-shop hands, not factory hands. Three tolerances come with that:
- Color and size variation between the on-screen render and the final print run. We calibrate closest to the source artwork; the medium is the bottleneck.
- Substrate tolerances on apparel blanks, packaging, and small leather accessories — blank thicknesses, weave stretch, and dye-lot drift all show up at the print edge.
- We replace defective units. We do not guarantee pixel-perfect reproduction of any on-screen render.
Shipping.
Production and shipping estimates are given per drop on the drop page. Production time is counted from drop close, not from order time — so every member of the window is on the same production wave.
Crownmark is not liable for carrier delays once the parcel has handed off to the shipping carrier. We help you chase a lost parcel; the carrier delivers it.
Intellectual property.
The Crownmark wordmark, the crown-on-the-i mark, every founder monogram, every capsule image, and every printed asset on this site is the property of Crownmark. Reproduction, redistribution, or derivative use without written permission is not permitted.
Press and editorial use of the media kit (logos and palette swatches) is permitted under the terms on the press kit page.
Liability.
Crownmark provides this site on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crownmark is not liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from use of this site or the items purchased through it. Where the law does not allow that limit, liability is capped at the price you paid for the relevant order.
Jurisdiction.
These terms are governed by the laws of [PLACEHOLDER governing jurisdiction: e.g. State of Delaware, USA]. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Contact.
Questions about these terms, an order, or a deletion request — email [PLACEHOLDER same contact email] or, in the meantime, crownmark-2@polsia.app.
